Ellis Island Ferry Terminal at Ellis Island National Monument

Natoli’s renovation and restoration of this historic building touches every aspect of the 1936 terminal. Structural work includes shoring and bracing, concrete restoration, masonry repair, brick repair and replacement, repointing, and structural steel repair. Finish work includes restoration and repair of architectural woodwork, doors and hardware, ornamental plaster, architectural metals, and terrazzo surfaces. All work was in full compliance with National Park Service and the Secretary of the Interior’s standards for rehabilitation for historic buildings. Additional projects by Natoli on Ellis Island include the North Island Buildings, the New Immigration Building, and the Wall of Honor.
